East Inpatient Care Center
Families on Cincinnati's east side have the highest quality hospice inpatient care in their own backyard, complementing a long-standing home care program. Hospice of Cincinnati opened its East Inpatient Care Center at Mercy Health Plaza, 7691 Five Mile Road in Anderson Township in June of 2006. Click here to watch our photo tour.
The new center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is staffed and managed by Hospice of Cincinnati employees. The addition of this facility expands HOC's ability to provide quality inpatient hospice services closer to home, providing one more
measure
of relief to families living on the east side.
The Eastside facility includes 16 inpatient rooms, ample gathering spaces for families and a wide range of comprehensive services. Karyn Dyehouse, MD, has joined the HOC team as medical director of the new facility. A future member of the Anderson office of Oncology Hematology Care Inc., Dyehouse is senior hematology/oncology fellow at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine's Division of Hematology/Oncology. "Two of my close family members — including my own father — were cared for by Hospice of Cincinnati," Dyehouse comments. "I have always had the greatest confidence in referring my patients here."
"On behalf of Mercy Hospital Anderson, I want to welcome Hospice of Cincinnati to Anderson Township," comments Adam Dittman, vice president of operations, Mercy Hospital Anderson. "For years this organization has demonstrated patient care at the highest level while providing comfort to loved ones during difficult periods. We are grateful for their commitment to improve the quality of life for patients and their families."
Please call us to arrange a visit or tour of our facilities. We would be honored to show you around and answer your family's questions.
